Wrapped For Pleasure: Easy Bondage for Steamy Sex, taught by Midori
Friday, February 22, 2013 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (PST)
Want to try fun and easy erotic bondage in your bedroom? Don't want to bother with expensive gear or complicated ropes and knots? Learn safe and sexy positions and techniques from Midori, one of our favorite teachers. Midori, the experienced educator and author of The Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage and Wild Side Sex: The Book of Kink, as well as the founder of Rope Bondage Dojo (http://ropedojo.com/), will demonstrate how to make restraints using scarves (and grey ties!). If you were turned on by any of those bondage scenes from Fifty Shades of Grey, this class will help you turn your fantasies into reality. There will be practice time so bring a beach towel or yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing. (All the exercises will be fully clothed.) Bring scarves, if you like. Otherwise, equipment and scarves will be provided. Couples or intimately-comfortable friends encouraged to participate.
This class will be held off-site, but within walking distance to the store. Plan to come back to the store after class for a one-on-one meet and greet with Midori. Dessert, snacks and refreshments will be served.
Be sure to attend Midori's AIDS LifeCycle fundraiser, Bang 4 the Buck, on February 23rd. This is a woman's party sponsored by Babeland. More info at http://bang4thebuck.org/

When & Where
Claire Cavanah and Rachel Venning opened the first Babeland store in 1993 in response to the lack of women-friendly sex shops in Seattle. The store offered top quality products, a pleasant place to shop, and most of all information and encouragement to women who wanted to explore their sexuality. The store's popularity with both women and men has led to three more stores in New York, plus a thriving and educational website.
We host workshops and events almost every week. Stop by for one of our Moms events, Art Walk nights, Babeland Brunch's or one of our many popular sex education classes.
